Week 1
- the first thing that I had in mind to do was Photography, this is because Photography is one of my top career choices. I want to know a lot more about this industry then I do already because then it will give me more of an idea in whether this is really what I want to do or not. Also by learning more about this industry and experimenting with different techniques I will get a bit more experienced with photography and that will be a great advantage. But with saying all that I started to think about a few other ideas that I thought would be good to do my research project on. One of those ideas were massaging, which made me think hard about what I really what to do because massaging is another career choice that I wouldn’t mind doing either. I thought maybe with photography there would be a lot more that I could research about it, but then I thought of quite a lot of different things that I could research about massaging. Finally I made my mind up and decided to do photography because I more interested in it. Some of the aspects that I would like to know more about are what techniques and settings work better when taking a photo, what famous photographers have done to become a professional and quite a few more aspects around that area. This would help me quite a lot in the future because I would know what works well and what doesn’t, I also what to put a few of my own techniques in there as well.
Week 2
- I started to think up question about what I could find out about photography and what could help me to get into this industry. I choose questions that would be good to start me off basic questions such as what techniques are good to use to become a professional photography.
Week 3
- I then started to think about professional photographers that I could research about and get information on how they became a famous photographer.
Week 4
- For my research project I decided to do mine on Anne geddes a well known famous photographer for baby portraits,
Week 5
- Anne Geddes was born in Australia in 1956 on Semptember 13th, she started photography at 25 years of age, she was very driven to become a photography but all the schools she attended did not have a photography program. The reasons why she choose babys as her main topic was because of her love for children and dissatisfaction of comtempory baby photos. She was very successful with publishing her books and calanders, she sold over 18 million books and sold over 13 million calanders.
Week 6
- During this week I gather up all my information that I had research and started putting it all together.
Week 7
- This week I look through Anne Geddes website at her photographs and choose a few photos that I thought were good. She uses a lot of different settings to her photos and backgrounds. so each picture is different in there own ways, they are rarely any photos that are alike.
Week 8
- Some of the techniques that Anne geddes uses a lot are black and white photos the reason for this is because she thinks that color photos distracts from the mage and beauty of life. Most of the props that she uses in her photos are custom made such as flowerpots and bird nests.
Week 9
- Journal
During this week I have been thinking up a number of questions that I could ask for the interview im planning to do. Im planning on interviewing a photographer that has not has as much experience as a proffessional photography.
Week 10
